The Last Day Before I Leave

Tomorrow I fly out to Austin, Texas for pre-departure orientation. I then fly out on July 03. I have been doing a lot of reading and last minute preparations. Last night after a day of fixing fences and moving animals around, I pulled out a chair and watched the sun set. I don't stop and watch the sun set often enough. I then went in and read. The current article I am reading is how American schools interpret Islam through the review of American text books. It has been an interesting read as I am constantly reading and reviewing science textbooks in my job, but I have never picked up a history or religious studies text book to review. Well I am off to mow the lawn and move my sprinklers.
